The festivities abound in West Bengal which belong to various peoples of West Bengal. The sanctity of this culture is in the cosmopolitanism in the Bengalis.

The people of Bihar are firmly rooted in traditions. They are strong believers in their beliefs which finds easy reflections in their lifestyles. The Biharis are very well renowned for their fun-loving nature and interest in entertainment. They are some of the biggest movie buffs. The state of Bihar is always thronged with the tourists who come to visit from all around.

The fishermen of Andaman and Nicobar Islands are very well-known for their traditions as storytellers, singers on the beach, and entertainers of the finest kind. The tribal people who were the original inhabitants of this place lived were the great Andamanese, Jarawas, Sentinelese and Onges in the Andaman group, and the Nicobarese and Shompens in the Nicobar group.

The collection of this wide-array of people is what comprises the broad classification of the East Indian people. The Bengalis contribute their unique vivacity, the Biharis their fun-loving nature, the Odissi are richly steeped in their unique culture.
